Update - About us - News

Create a News detail page

1.  Click the Adobe Experience Manager Logo

2. Click the "Sites" logo

3.  Click the "Stryker"

4.  Click US > en > About > News > 2017 > Create

5.  Create > Page

6.  Create page > News Detail

7.  Add the title of the article (this is the title that will show when navigating the news section).

For the tags section, this is what determines what section the article will show up under.  e.g. Products, Financial, Events, In the news.  You can add the tags here or if your not ready or not sure what section the article will be in, you can add it later in "Properties" (please see the how to tag an article section)

8. If you decide on adding the tags during the initial set up,  click on the browse button and select "Stryker > Content Type> News" and browse for the tag that you are associating these pages to. 

9.  Check the tags associated to the article then click the check mark on the top right hand corner.

10.  Click "Create"

11. Click "Save"

12.  Make sure you in "Edit" mode not "Preview"

Publish date - this determines the article order on the website. 

Event Location Properties - this is optional field if you would like to include the location

Standalone Image - (optional) Add an image using this field and link to article or any assets. (follow "How to upload assets")

RTE (Rich Text Editor) - This is where you will add the article and link the article (Read more)

How to upload assets

This is where you will be uploading: all images, PDF's, videos, etc.

1.  Click the Adobe Experience Manager Logo

2.  Click the "Assets" logo

3. Click  Stryker > About > News

4.  Change to list view (located top right corner)

5.  Drag all assets from anywhere on your computer into the browser screen and press "upload"

How to tag an article

You can set up the tags using steps 7-9 in "Create a news detail page"section or you can follow the following steps when your ready.

1.  Click the "Properties" logo on the top left corner of the screen

2.  Click "Open Properties"

3.  Click the "Tag" logo

4.  Click the Stryker > Content Type > News

Check the tags associated to the article then click the check mark on the top right hand corner.

5. Click the "Check" mark to save the tags
