Create PDFs of your pages

Generate screenshots of your webpages and combine them into a PDF using Mozilla Firefox

Prerequisites

  • Mozilla FireFox browser
  • Adobe Acrobat (full version)
  1. Using Firefox install the Grab them All plugin from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/grab-them-all 
  2. Restart your browser

3. Once it is installed, the icon will appear in the toolbar.

If it does not appear, right click on the toolbar and select "Customize...". Then click-and drag the "Grab Them All" icon to the tool bar.

4. Update the settings of the toolbar by going to the FireFox settings menu and manage your Add-ons

5. Click the GrabThemAll plugin “Options”

6. Set the height and width of the application to 1440x768 and click OK.

7. In the FireFox browser, click the GrabThemAll icon

8. Click the “Load file with URLs to grab” and point to a text file that has all the pages for which you want to create screenshots. Then click on “Select destination dir” and point to the folder on your computer you want the screenshots to be saved to. Then click “Let’s go!”

Download a copy of a sample text file by right-clicking the link below and choose "Save link as..."

9. When all screenshots are complete they will be saved as PNGs in the folder you specified. In Acrobat, go to File > Create > Combine files into a single PDF.

10. Click “Add Files” and point to the folder that contains all the PNGs from the GrabThemAll job and click “Combine Files”.  Save the PDF that is created to your desktop. Done!
