Filtered content-type grid
The Filtered Content-Type Grid Component displays either Capabilities or Products, depending on whether it is used on the Portfolio Landing page or on the Capability and Specialty Landing pages. This component is mostly dynamically driven with minimal content author input.

This component is available on the following page templates:
- Portfolio template
- Capability template
- Speciality template
- Search Path: Defines the root within the site structure so that AEM pulls the information from the correct pages - e.g. /content/stryker/us/en/home/portfolios/medical---surgical-equipment
- Empty Text: Defines the message displayed when nothing is found on any pages
- Load More Button: Defines the text displayed in the label button at the bottom of the page
- Default Filter Option: Defines what text will be displayed as the default in the filter; default text is “Show All”
- List Size: Allows the author to set the limit of how many items to initially display; default is 20
- Filters: A Multifield that includes "Group Title and the group of tags to get the pages of results to display
- Filter Name: The title per each group page
- Tag: Tag selector to filter the pages to list in the component
- Add Field: Used to add 0 to 3 filters
- Show Procedures: Check to enable the display of the pages utilizing the Procedure template which are tagged appropriately
- Show Systems: Check to enable the display of the pages utilizing the System template which are tagged appropriately
- Optional label for Systems filter option: Defines label to show in place of the term "System" if an alternative label is desired (e.g. Product Families). If left blank, the "System" label will be used by default
This component will only display pages with of the following content types based on the configuration of the checkboxes:
- contenttype/product
- contenttype/procedure
- contenttype/system
Reordering products
The product thumbnails on capability and speciality pages can be re-ordered.
Prerequisite:
- Creation of tags that will filter different pages using a categorization or taxonomy.
- Businesses can create custom filter groups under the "Custom > (Business unit)" section in the tagging application in AEM.
- At least two of the filter items in the drop-down need to be tagged to products in the grid in order for the filter to render on the page.
Good to know:
- The filters in this component are author-configurable and allow authors to choose from 0 to 3 filters by selecting a parent taxonomy from the tagging application in AEM
- Filters are not available on the portfolio template
When creating new product pages, there is an option within the page properties to display a "New" flag for a select amount of time.
- Open "page information" button on top left of a product page
- Select "Open properties"
- In the "basic" tab area, scroll to "New Flag Display until" field
- Enter desired date
- Save and close out of "page information"
