The benefits of a connected AED are clear:
The intuitive design and clear graphics allow users to deliver a first shock 24 to 35 seconds faster than the Philips OnSite AED and ZOLL AED Plus.1
Compared to a conventional AED, it reduces pre-shock pause and increases chest-compression fraction.*2
Send information to arriving first responders with LIFENETCentral AED program manager.
Capable of delivering 360 J shocks.
cprCOACH provides clear and precise instructions at every step of the resuscitation, from hand placement to compression rate pace, and it includes regular reminders on compression depth and duration of CPR cycles.
In the critical moments of a sudden cardiac arrest, the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) can help determine the outcome of the event.
Learn moreSudden cardiac arrest impacts people of all ages, and each year, 7,000 children and teens are affected.1 While the focus is often on student-athletes, research shows that sudden cardiac arrest is more common among non-athlete students in school settings.

LIFEPAK CR2 AED FAQs
No. The LIFEPAK CR2 is designed to be user-friendly even for laypersons in emergency situations where immediate action is required.
The LIFEPAK CR2 lithium battery provides approximately 800 minutes of "ON" time or 166 discharges at 200 joules. If installed within a year from the manufacturing date, its standby life is 4 years.
LIFEPAK CR2 comes with one set of QUIK-STEP pacing/ECG/defibrillation electrodes, one lithium battery and a USB cable.
The CHILD MODE button switches the defibrillator to deliver reduced energy levels appropriate for children and adjusts CPR coaching prompts. It can be activated for patients between one and eight years old or weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs). Pressing it again switches back to ADULT MODE.
Adults: 200 joules (first shock), 300 joules (second shock), and 360 joules (third and subsequent shocks). Users can configure energy levels selecting values from 150 to 360J. Children: 50 joules (first shock), 75 joules (second shock), and 90 joules (third and subsequent shocks). Users can configure energy levels selecting values from 35 to 90J.
LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator has an 8-year warranty.
LIFEPAK CR2 gives clear CPR instructions through cprCOACH Feedback Technology, which provides metronome tones at the correct compression rate and adjusts voice prompts as needed to guide responders. In addition, LIFEPAK CR2 is also able to automatically adjust the volume of the voice prompts based on the ambient noise.
