William Maples, MD, is president and chief executive officer of the Institute for Healthcare Excellence (IHE). Dr. Maples was a practicing clinical oncologist and held roles as chair of the Mayo Clinic Quality Committee and chief quality officer at Mission Health before founding the IHE.
