Shannon Phillips, MD, MPH, FAAP, SFHM, CPPS, is the chief patient safety and experience officer at Intermountain Healthcare, based in Utah. Dr. Phillips’ role encompasses patient and family experience, physician and staff experience, as well as delivering on quality and safety goals. Dr. Phillips also chairs the Experience Innovation Network’s Human-Centered Leadership Council.
