Description:

Providing effective sepsis care is a critical challenge spanning the entire healthcare continuum, from EMS response to hospital treatment. In this webinar, we will explore best practices in sepsis surveillance, accurate diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment protocols. We will discuss how early recognition and intervention can prevent rapid sepsis progression and emphasize the importance of standardized assessment, monitoring, and interventions for first responders and hospital providers to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, we will highlight the importance of seamless communication and coordination between pre-hospital and hospital providers to optimize sepsis care at every stage, improving survival rates and reducing long-term complications.

Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate an increased awareness of sepsis with a focus on the importance of early recognition and intervention, from pre-hospital to hospital care.
  2. Apply improved knowledge for surveillance of warning signs and symptoms of sepsis, including the use of capnography as a tool for early detection
  3. Integrate practical strategies to improve the management of septic patients, including the implementation of evidence-based guidelines and protocols for sepsis care.

Important: Due to changes in the compliance policy, a $10 fee will be charged for receiving a CE. Attendees can view the webinar for free.
