Join us for a comprehensive and enlightening webinar on emergency childbirth management. This session will provide valuable insights into the identification, assessment, and management strategies for peripartum and postpartum hemorrhage, featuring case studies and real-world examples to demonstrate best practices and emergency interventions. Additionally, we will review strategies for the early detection and management of peripartum cardiomyopathy, and share effective techniques for resuscitation in the obstetric population to improve maternal outcomes.

Objectives:

1. Review the physiologic maternal changes during pregnancy. 
2. Illustrate aspects of peripartum and postpartum hemorrhage of varying severity. 
3. Discuss the recognition and treatment of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy 
4. Review the pathophysiology and symptoms of peripartum cardiomyopathy  
5. Discuss the most likely etiologies for maternal cardiac arrest and alterations to CPR
