Low profile titanium plating system for neurosurgery.
The Universal Neuro III module neatly contains a comprehensive selection of skull base plates, low-profile plates, dynamic mesh, screws, and the instrumentation needed to fixate cranial bone flaps. 120 employees dedicated 16,000 hours to develop this system, which included the manufacture of 96 separate prototypes. Our R&D team tested over 500 screws in Freiburg, Germany and an additional 300 were tested by surgeons to ensure all specifications were met. We tested numerous prototypes of the new skull base plate, burr hole covers and screwdriver blades before selecting the final product to produce for use worldwide.
Axial Stability Screw (AXS), the next generation screw for neuro fixation, features improved pick-up and optimized self-retention for reliable transport into OR field along with a self-centering feature that facilitates off-axis insertion.
Specialized plates to reconstruct difficult skull base approaches with minimal plate modification.
Low profile height (0.4mm) with deeper countersinks, broader bars and a smoother geometry.
Color coding of the modules and associated instrumentation provides ease of use for you and your staff.
Customizable screw disc allows placement of 3, 4 and/or 5mm screws in a single screw disc.
Available in half and quarter size sterilization containers to accomodate your needs.
