Audience: This course is designed for Vocera Platform System Administrators
Course Topics:
- Add, edit and delete Vocera groups
- Assign permissions to Vocera groups
- Design a call flow using scheduling and forwarding settings
- Distinguish between departments, sub-departments and ordinary groups
- Gain an understanding of how groups are used within Vocera
- Learn how to populate instance conferences
Prerequisite: Completion of Basic Vocera Platform 6 System Administration Training. Equivalent experience may be approved by the course instructor for students who can demonstrate the appropriate knowledge of Vocera Platform 6 or students with more than six months experience.
*This course does not apply to Vocera Voice version 5.x
Technical requirements: To achieve maximum benefit from the course, we recommend students use the following equipment:
- High speed Internet connection
- Speaker phone
- Two computer monitors (one to view the webinar; the other to view the labs)
This configuration provides a more interactive learning environment and is beneficial for performing lab exercises.
*Teams of two students may attend if students are located in a reserved training or conference room. Both students should have a basic knowledge of Vocera.
