Spencer Stiles

Group President, Orthopaedics and Spine

Spencer Stiles became Group President, Orthopaedics and Spine in August 2019.

Spencer oversees our Joint Replacement, Trauma and Extremities, and Spine Businesses as well as our Digital, Robotics and Enabling Technologies Organization. He is also directly responsible for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Canada, as well as Stryker’s enterprise M&A Function, inclusive of strategic deal rationale and capital deployment.

Spencer began his career with Stryker’s Endoscopy business in 1999 and previously had oversight of several global businesses throughout his tenure, including Instruments, Joint Replacement, Spine, Communications, Neurovascular, and Craniomaxillofacial.

Spencer serves on the Board of Directors for Chart Industries (NYSE: GTLS) and the Medical Device Manufacturing Association (MDMA).

Spencer holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
