Rob Fletcher

Vice President, Chief Legal Officer

Rob Fletcher joined Stryker as Vice President, Chief Legal Officer in April 2019.

Rob is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of our global legal, compliance and corporate secretary activities.

Throughout his career, he has gained deep leadership experience through managing complex, global business issues and has delivered strong results in the medical technology industry.

Prior to joining us, Rob spent 15 years with Johnson & Johnson where he held multiple legal leadership roles including worldwide Vice President of Litigation and General Counsel for the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. He also served as Corporate Counsel for General Electric Aircraft Engines (now GE Aviation), which included work in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. Before GE, Rob worked in private practice where he focused on corporate and real estate law.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University and a doctorate in law from Boston College Law School.
