Preston Wells

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Preston Wells became Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in April 2025.

Preston is responsible for our global finance activities which include corporate accounting, reporting, tax, treasury and internal audit. He also oversees Information Technology.

Upon joining Stryker in 2015, Preston began his career with our Spine Division, leading sales finance and sales operations. He then led Financial Planning and Analysis and Investor Relations for the company, and most recently took on the role of Vice President, Group Chief Financial Officer for our Orthopaedics and Spine Group.

Before joining Stryker, Preston had 17 years of experience as a senior accounting and financial management leader in global organizations. He was the CFO at Dialight Corporation and held various financial leadership positions within Johnson & Johnson.

Preston has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bucknell University and an MBA in supply chain management from Lehigh University.
