Shane Nho, M.D., M.S., Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, to present on HipCheck and HipMap, innovative tools designed to deliver procedural efficiency, facilitate patient education and improve patient-specific results
Stryker will feature two transformative patient-specific tools designed to dramatically enhance the surgical experience for hip arthroscopy—HipCheck and HipMap—at the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) Annual Meeting, May 2-4, 2019, in Orlando (booth #221). For the first time, Dr. Shane Nho, M.D., M.S. will be presenting on these new technologies for hip arthroscopy on Friday, May 3.
The HipCheck platform is focused on advancing the field of hip arthroscopy as an interactive tablet integrating into existing OR workflow, calculating intraoperative measurements and working to deliver a higher degree of accuracy in measuring bone deformities. This interactive tablet also incorporates a 3D imaging tool designed to improve pre-operative planning, HipMap.
“We are extremely excited to feature HipMap and HipCheck at AANA. The goal of the platform is to provide another step towards personalized medicine in hip arthroscopy, with an advanced preoperative plan that can be manipulated in the sterile field coupled with real time resection guidance giving our customers critical information in an already complex procedure. In addition, we hope the platform provides our customers with a pre-operative and post-operative tool to further assist in patient education and communication,” said Matt Moreau, Stryker’s Sports Medicine Vice President and General Manager.
During AANA, Stryker will be hosting product demonstrations at booth #221 from May 2-4, 2019 and will also be hosting an industry lunch and learn presentation with Dr. Shane Nho focused on these new technologies for hip arthroscopy on Friday, May 3 at 12:30 p.m. in the Naples room at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.
