Cirujano ortopédico
Michael Liebensteiner, nacido en 1978 vive y trabaja en Inssbruck, Tyrol, Austria. Sus intereses son la articulación de la rodilla en general, desde la medicina deportiva hasta las revisiones de artroplastia.
Después de estudiar Medicina y Ciencias del Deporte en la universidad, finalizó su residencia en 2021. Seguidamente, trabajó como cirujano ortopédico e investigador en el Departamento de Cirugía Ortopédica. Michael Liebensteiner recibió el título de Profesor Asociado de Cirugía Ortopédica en 2016. Hasta ahora ha contribuido con unas 80 publicaciones en revistas junto a otros colaboradores. La mayoría de esas publicaciones tratan sobre aspectos en el campo de la cirugía de rodilla.
